National Fishing & Boating Week


This week is National Fishing and Boating Week! National Fishing and Boating Week (June 6 – 14) is an annual celebration of fishing and boating that showcases the importance of recreational fishing and boating. Fishing and boating are great activities that improve the quality of life and help preserve the country’s natural beauty.

During National Fishing and Boating Week, many states also offer Free Fishing Days. On your state’s Free Fishing Day, you can fish in public waters without a fishing license.
